8 ÷ 2 (2 + 2) =??

=   8 ÷ 2(4)

According to the math principle PEMDAS: Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division (from left to right), Addition, and Subtraction (from left to right).

So

                                        = 4(4)

                                        = 16
